I like a VTEC head because it opens up the top of the RPM range to more power without sacrificing low-end drivability like aftermarket non-VTEC cams would. If your turbo choice is limiting you to HP in the mid-200s and a redline of ~7000 though, you don't stand much to gain with the VTEC conversion.
